The Cabinet

The Crystal Brawl cabinet was the very first custom cabinet in the DBAA collection, built by Mark Kleeb and Jon Stokes in 2013. It was modeled after some plans for a MAME cabinet found on the internet, and designed to be broken down into three pieces so it could be packed easily into a small vehicle for transport. An in-depth blog about the cabinet build can be found on the Studio Mercato blog. In 2020, the Crystal Brawl cabinet was retired and its body and joystick console were repurposed to create the Wondercab, a cabinet produced as part of the Wonderville launch Kickstarter campaign, featuring rotating games from local artists and game developers.
